Perfect Picture Book Friday/ I’m not Here!

Blue Ridge Mountains.alt_byvjlalt._CharlottesvilleVA. I’m not here! I’m here! http://www.vabook.org/index.html/ and here http://www.vabook.org/site12/program/view.php for the week. I am  going to some great programs such as Saturday’s,

Pub Day: E-Books about publishing Ebooks from author, editor and publisher perspectives. Also

I’m going to Writing for Girls/ Writing for Boys/What’s the difference,  presented by Valerie Tripp, the author of many of The American Girl series and Fred Bowen the top writer for boys in the sports arena.

And basically I’ll be here in Charlottesville VA. not here in PPBF land. The only internet will be from my hotel room so I will have some but not enough to count. It’s going to be an internet free weekend and week. My husband and I will be gone from Thursday to Sunday and I will be missing all of you beautiful readers but oh  will I ever be refreshed when I come back.

Yes, I may peek in at you while I’m gone.

Take care! Have the greatest weekend ever! I’ll be announcing the winner of Taconi and Claude next Friday at PPBF  here.

      Thanks, Susanna.
As usual I got crowd fatigue. Friday and Thursday were other business but today I’ve gone to two wonderful workshops and did some good networking. Met some new friends. I’ll tell all about it. First, I have a surprise for you next week though.

Nope, not yet. More and more delays. First in the printing then in the getting the ISBN’s wrong. Won’t be out for at least four weeks I think. I’ll let you know. You’ll probably hear me shout with excitement. lol

  5. Have a great time, Clar! And I’m same as Erik, I thought “I’m not here!” was the title of the book, and I thought it sounds like a pretty cool title.

Thanks, Richard. If you know the skyland drive and the blue ridge mountains, that view is one seen frequently and not rarely. I can’t take photos like that though. Where are you located?

Feeling relaxed is good. Been having a blast. Meeting some interesting people, too.

      • I have driven through the Blue Ridge Mountains once, but couldn’t stay. They are beautiful. We’ll go back some day. We live near Seattle. The Pacific Northwest is spectacular. I was driving along the Puget Sound this morning and had a stunning view of the sunlit Olympic Mountains. Mount Rainier was also visible in all its glory, on my way home.

Oh, yes! Now I remember from previous communication. My son lives in Olympia and I have visited numerous times. Mt. Rainer is glorious all the time and the area is beautiful and the Cascade mountains just blow you away. We hiked up Mt Ranier once and saw an eagle. The view was beyond spectacular. 🙂
